Heron lived in Alexandria around AD 62 and is best known as a mathematician.  he managed to use steam to spin a shere at 1500 rpm, using the same principle as jet propulsion.

This invention was seen as a toy though, as nobody could see a use for the invention.

I’m a web designer, film maker & writer.

The main website I’m working on right now is for The Jace Hall Show, which you can find at www.jacehall.net, it’s well worth taking a look at and watching the videos.  Jace runs HD Films and is a producer on the new version of V, which can be seen on ABC in the States and on SciFi here in the UK.

This blog will cover my random thoughts, as well as what I’m currently working on and various other things.  I’ll try not to be too boring, because what do you really care if a cat peed on my shoe, of course, if it it was a tiger, then that might be  a it more interesting.
